In the United States it is a time of gratitude – our Thanksgiving holiday.

The Role of Openings in Our Lives

Where would we be without Openings? Stagnant and stuck without new places to go. Openings bring energy and movement to our lives. Through them we have new experiences and adventures, we grow, and we progress on our journeys.

The Openings we enter create our lives. In our choices, we are setting our direction. We may accept a job, begin a relationship, make a significant change or leave an aspect of our life behind. In doing so, we alter the nature of our life and circumstances.

Being Thankful

Let’s focus on being grateful for Openings. What Openings have we experienced in our life? How did they change or affect us? Do we welcome them when they appear?

Take a moment now to ponder the presence of Openings in our lives and our relationship to them – what life is like with them and how it would be without them. Identify three Openings – whether challenging or smooth – and celebrate them.
