Getting To the Core

We are in a time of transformation. These times require fundamental and intimate change. It is not about small shifts but rather big, significant ones. It asks us to be open in ways we have not been before. It is a time of risks and plunging into to the unknown, if we are to get where we need to go.

Openings help us transform. Some of the Openings that appear are intimate ones that help us to transform at our very core. Intimate Openings reach our center. They ask for fundamental change and for our courage. In order to reach the degree of change these Openings offer, we must be ready to transform ourselves in substantial ways, both inside and out.

This kind of change is not easy. It asks us to let go of beliefs, patterns and ways of being that we have become familiar with. We lose our sense of safety and take a leap. Openings always ask for movement. Intimate Openings ask for even more. We have to be ready to see ourselves in new ways and to change the way we perceive our lives.

Purpose

Intimate Openings may ask us to rethink our purpose in life. They may take us to places we have never known. We may become people we have never been before. Their purpose is to shift us in profound ways inside and out. They plan to shake us up. We change in profound ways because that is what we need to do.

This time of transformation is a reckoning. The world is changing and the chaos of this change abounds. If the world changes around us and we do not change, we will find ourselves out of step. We will be confused and likely frustrated as we will not know how to walk in this world. Only with profound change will we find our way. Openings are here to help us do that.

As we enter intimate Openings, the change we need will become clear to us so that we can find our way to the change. The path may be arduous or lengthy, but we’ll be on our way. Because of our willingness to enter the Opening support will be available to us. We are saying yes to intimate Openings and that makes the difference.

Radical Change

It behooves us to look carefully at the times we are in. What surrounds us? We are seeing the effects of rampant growth, loss of core values, widespread stress, loss of meaning and the presence of profound mental, physical and emotional suffering. The world is no longer what it was even ten years ago. Many of us cannot recognize the world we live in now.

The world is in a state of polarity and crisis. It has pitted one against the other and that is not a welcome state. The benefits of polarity are unhealthy ones – feeding our anger, soothing our negative emotions at the expense of others and getting the energy we think we need through conflict. It is a false state where we think our needs are being met but we are only feeding our dysfunction.

Radical change does not have to be met in this way. By accepting intimate Openings we can face radical change in positive ways. These Openings show us where to go. Yes, change always asks for our courage and usually is uncomfortable as we face the unknown. But radical change can also bring beauty and dreams come true.
