Manifesting Within Openings

When I enter an Opening, then what?

Once Inside an Opening

We’ve looked a lot in this blog at choosing whether to enter an Opening. What about once we are in the Opening? What do we do? Openings are here to help us move forward. It’s up to us to decide what we do with them. First thing is to be present to where we are. From the present moment, we can decide where we want to go next.

We know where we were when we first became aware of the Opening. We have gone through the pros and cons and possible impacts of entering the Opening. We have explored and learned the nature of the Opening, so we have a sense of where it could take us. There is something we want in the Opening, or we would not have entered it.

Here are some questions we can ask ourselves when we have just entered an Opening:

  • What is our intention for the Opening? How do we want to use it to further our journey?
  • What is the main reason we had for entering the Opening?
  • What do we see before us to take the best advantage of what the Opening offers us?
  • What do we need to make the most of the Opening – skills, support, courage, letting go of fear?
  • What steps are clear that we can take now?
  • What exploring do we need to do?

Awareness

Awareness is key to navigating an Opening successfully. We must be conscious and present. How do we cultivate our awareness? Reflection on and knowledge of what is happening within us are key. We can do this by setting aside time to check in with ourselves, especially in regard to the Opening. We can develop practices that keep us in the present moment as much as possible.

We can set intentional goals for what we want to do within the Opening. We can develop our resilience to the extent it is needed in order to make it through the Opening. We can create a plan. Once we set our goals, how will we attain them? How long do we want to be in this Opening? Is there any urgency?

Say we have entered an Opening and moved to a new city. How can we create the living and working conditions we want there? How did we anticipate that the move would make our lives better? Are we there yet or do we have work to do to get there? How do we keep ourselves going in this new environment? Is it challenging or easy? What are the three most important things we want to do now?

What’s The Point?

The purpose of Openings is to move us forward in our journeys. We don’t move without action. It takes a lot to decide whether to enter an Opening. Once inside, it’s up to us to do the moving forward. When we start moving, what we need will come, just like in the classic hero’s journey. Allies will show up, challenges will be met and we will grow wiser in making our way.

Movement is the point. Almost continuous movement while still maintaining our centeredness. Stopping is in service to our momentum and balance. We want to be balanced as a wheel is, not wobbly or uncertain. We have a vision of where we want to go and an idea of how we can get there. We want to make the most of this Opening while we are here and get maximum benefit from our experience within it.

Of course, things can slow us down within an Opening. But we deal with them and find a way to keep moving forward. In doing so, we will learn. That may be a main purpose of an Opening. Obstacles teach us and getting through them makes us stronger and wiser. If we look at obstacles as an expected part of most Openings, we are better able to handle them.

Movement

When it comes to Openings, movement is the goal. Manifesting after we enter, and as we go through an Opening is foremost in our journey with it. With movement and Openings our lives improve. We are happier and we grow.

Okay, I get it, I propel myself through an Opening to its other side. I’m ready.
